1. Oversea the full performance of the contract and take the correction action on time to keep the KPI above the minimum contractual SLA/KPI
2. Set up and maintain the administrative arrangements for effective and efficient contract management, including stakeholder communication, governance, and performance monitoring arrangements, payments and file/records management
3. Conduct contractual monitoring, identifying and initiating remedies for data quality issues to support the provision of assurance of service delivery in line with strategy and contract and report on compliance and delivery performance
4. Ensure all council policies and procedures and contract mechanisms are properly applied by the commercial team, delivery units and delivery partners
5. Develop effective relationships with the delivery units and delivery partners
6. Ensure payments are accurate and reflect agreed performance/payment mechanisms
7. Work collaboratively with colleagues in the Commercial team to ensure a consistent commercial approach is taken, interdependencies are managed effectively, and a rich understanding of performance is developed and reported to commissioners and members
8. Ensure that the needs of customers and outcomes for service users drive contract management activity, and that customer feedback is sought and used as part of the contract management processes
9. Identify problems early and intervene appropriately to understand causes and collaboratively develop solutions, initiating remedial/improvement activity as required
10. Engage with the Assurance Group to inform audit activity and provide the information required for it to undertake its duties to assure the Board that operational and governance processes and procedures are fit for purpose.
11. Review the periodically reports of HSE, Finance, Help Desk, CMMS, Quality Management and Procurement Management
