business and offers a multi-purpose venue for conducting various events. The business primary objective is to offer the banquet hall to affluent people for conducting marriages. It also intends to
capitulate on the demand for quality space by hosting other social and corporate events. As a budding business, the company will provide ample opportunities for professional growth.
Key Responsibilities
Maintenance Planning
- Plan and oversee all routine maintenance and repair works in the facility and develop an efficient system for dealing with emergency repair problems
- Plan, cost effectively, for responsive as well as the planned cyclic maintenance of building activities with agreed standards
- Ensure availability of sufficient manpower as part of maintenance team for performing maintenance activities
- Order and procure materials as needed and make recommendations of supplies and equipment for purchase
Repair & Maintenance
- Inspect infrastructure on a periodic basis and perform general corrective maintenance as required for proper maintenance and operation of equipment, fittings, fixtures, etc
- Liaise with outside contractors | vendors to enlist their services related to facilities management
- Inspect and evaluate work (electrical, plumbing, etc) in progress and upon completion inspect repairs and maintenance to confirm if they are in compliance to agreed standards
Facilities Management
- Ensure provision of required furniture and furnishings for successful operation of events
- Ensure layout of furniture as per contract specifications and be responsible for general upkeep and cleanliness of the facility before and after the event
- Manage furniture and appliance inventory for facilities and assist in ordering additional inventory as needed
- Provide budgetary requirements on an annual basis for procurement of additional furnishings in line with the expansion plans of the organization
Health & Safety
- Responsible for 100% compliance of health, safety & environmental standards of the organization to statutory regulations - in the process of carrying out of maintenance, refurbishment and adaptation works
- Prepare risk assessments and method statements for all hazardous work, ensuring any resultant safety requirements are implemented
