1. Job Purpose :Prioritize efficient and reliable management of all processes that are related to the regions' receivable/payable accounts and contribute in solving the departments complex problems.
2. Duties and Responsiblites : Review and quality assure all services and work-products delivered by the department/unit in accordance with established policies and proceduresDevise and improve operational procedures and policies in line with corporate and strategic guidanceDeploy allocated resources for optimal performance and provide feedback to the direct line manager on resource requirementsMonitor staff achievements, perform periodic performance appraisals, and provide guidance or coaching to direct reports in performing their delegated dutiesEnsure that all direct reports acquire the competencies for effective performance in their roles, through appropriate training and professional developmentEnsure the performance of duties and conduct of staff are in accordance with the departmental/unit business processes and operating proceduresReview regular performance reports prepared by direct reports and identify issues for resolution or escalationOptimise the use of personal and team time/effort in carrying out assigned duties, to ensure work meets agreed standards for timeliness and qualityMaintain positive relationships with customers and other business contacts, through the concerned marketing channel and Key Account, for proper managements of their Accounts in according to the company' s high service standards.
3. Review account entries and statements of account prepared by Finance analysts & reviewed by Regional financial manager, provide feedback or escalate reports to the Manager to highlight trends, issues or risks.
4. Discuss complex reconciliation activities with clients/brokers/payable accounts and/or the client owners (sales or key accounts) to ensure accounts receivable & payable records are accurateEnsure follow up on payable & receivable accounts in accordance with SLAs.
