Role Purpose:

To develop a robust interface mechanism for enhancing staff relations and promoting the image of HRMD by facilitating timely resolution of workplace issue; To develop and maintain policies, processes, and procedures related to compensation and staff relations.

Key Activities:

 

•Contribute to the formulation of the department strategy, annual plans and budget preparation by providing technical input.

•Provide recommendations on identification, organization and prioritization of projects and initiates across the division.

•Liaise with other entities of the IDB Group to ensure compliance with overall HR policies and other mandated requirements.

•Design and implement effective branding strategies to  facilitate acceptance of HR policies across the organization.

•Balance staff relations at all levels in alignment with overall policies and procedures to build a strong and healthy culture within the organization.

•Monitor benefits related transactions such as, staff leave, loan to ensure efficient delivery of services to staff at all levels.

•Seek the legal department support and share required information in case of violation of any policy and procedures by any staff (e.g. disciplinary action, loan default, submission of fake documents, fraudulent activities, etc.).

•Coordinate with the SAP HCM IT team for efficient and consistent delivery of its services to all staff.

•Act as focal point to implement any new requirements in SAP HCM system.

•Prepare business cases based on business requirements and manage their implementation by the SAP IT team.

•Technically supervise data entry, archival and regular update of staff related records and documents (e.g. Academic certificates, ID proof, etc.) in physical and electronic format, including SAP system.

•Ensure that the information and documents submitted by the staff at the time of joining are valid and authentic.

•Ensure the equal opportunity among contractual staff and outsourced from external sources.

•Counsel staff on personnel issues, such as rights and responsibilities, codes of conduct, leaves of absence, promotions, performance, training and development, and separation,

•Analyze trends and metrics in coordination with other HRMD divisions to identify areas of improvement in HR aspects.

•Contribute to project planning process by preparing project management plans.

•Identify and communicate project risks and issues along with recommendations for risk mitigation and issue resolution.

•Conduct technical work for project delivery.

•Provide technical guidance and coaching to team members on project.

•Monitor and resolve any deviance from baseline project plans and take remedial action on the projects within defined guidelines/threshold.

•Monitor and track transactions related to positions, recruitment, HR data, benefits, earnings/deductions, retroactivity, recoveries, adjustments and separations.

•Lead/participate in corporate staff relations surveys such as satisfaction surveys, opinion surveys, compensation surveys, performance surveys, etc.

•Document lessons learned and best practices on staff relations matters to promote knowledge at IDB.

•Encourage collaboration and communication with other departments/entities. Provide technical guidance to team members on matters related to compensation and staff relations.

•Represent the Bank in conferences, seminars, and events on the HR issues and participate in dissemination and knowledge building.

•Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual reports for the top management.

•Establish relationship and liaise with various points of contact assigned by departments to provide HR related services to staff in an effective manner.

•Ensure related initiatives are properly communicated to staff at all levels and communication channel is open to all the staff to improve staff satisfaction.
