• Deal with specific commitees for within the defined vertical (product portfolio), confer with users and requesters to moderate decisions for new products and product updates / changes.
• Responsible to manage the specified planning function .
• Interface to all clinical functions within the hospital to manage demand planning and ensure consistent product and vendor portfolio management within specified vertical.
• Interface within Supply Chain functions, specifically with Master Data Management team in the the Quality and Performance function to ensure correct and up-to-date Item and Vendor information
• Budget forecasting and monitor forecasts and quotas to identify changes or to determine their effect on supply chain activities.
• Report on defined performance metrics for measurement, comparison, or evaluation of supply chain factors, such as product cost or quality.
• Support to analyze inventories to determine how to increase inventory turns, reduce waste, or optimize internal customer service.
• Follow and execute procedures for coordination of supply chain management with other functional areas within Supply Chain and other functional areas.
• Initiate dynamic enhancements of existing procedures.
• Lead area experts (coordinators) if applicable
