A renowned Medical company is currently recruiting for a Warehouse Manager to be based in Saudi Arabia
Job Purpose
The Warehouse Manager strategize and deal with planning, coordinating, administration and general management issues, which include the day-to-day supervision of staff and overseeing work organized by team leaders (who then report to the manager). The manager needs to be more practical, with also 'hands-on' work.
Principal Accountabilities/Key Results Area
• Establishes operational procedures for activities such as verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposals of sales and accurate warehouse inventory.
• Establishing and adhering to an intricate inventory management system, with pre-determined critical order levels for each category of products. Coordinating, inspecting and updating shipment reports of local import and exports.
• Communicating with all the levels within department and executing department objectives as well as accomplishing department goals.
• Applying the FIFO supply chain management concepts for FMCG products.
• Keeping stock control systems up to date and making sure inventories are accurate;
• Inspects physical condition of warehouse and equipment’s and analyses need of expansion of warehouses or requirement of additional equipment’s.
• Complying with all audit requirements including familiarizing the warehouse management team of the policies and procedures.
• Monitoring KPIs and executing the daily and monthly plan as per local and export dispatch schedule, according to the planning department, as well as coordinating the same with logistics, sales and finance departments.
• Motivating, organizing and encouraging teamwork within the workforce to ensure productivity targets are met or exceeded;
• Ensuring quality, delivery and budget objectives are met.
• Producing regular reports and statistics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
