• Experience in the freight forwarding industry, ATA Aviation cargo.
• Handling AIR & OCEAN import and export shipments.
• Experience Aviation, DGR and Explosive material goods import process.
• Communication with our overseas suppliers to get require documents and information.
• Issuing customers quotes of all incoming and outgoing shipment per customer request.
• Handle customs clearances paper work, set up deliveries and issue final billing.
• Rate negotiations with carriers and vendors along with the handling of claims and expense.
• Ensuring full compliance with all applicable government agencies (Saudi Customs, Airport Security, Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Defense ….)
• Determining and verifying the proper harmonized tariff classification for each shipment.
• Prepring gate passes for shipment.
• Understanding the inner work of Saudia Cargo operations.
• Build good and harmonize relationship with government agencies, Saudia cargo operation, airline and other suppliers.
• Handling accurately and in a timely manner of daily shipment.
• Available anytime of the day if require for AOG/urgent issue.
• Resolve all shipping issues with Freight forwarding, Brokerage, Airline…
• Monitor incoming shipment and be ready to clear up on arrival in short time.
• Ensuring proper maintenance of records (customer files, POAs, bonds…)
• Staying up to date on all Saudi Customs and other government agencies regulations.
• Organize, pick-up, deliver and transfer of shipments to and from customer locations within the airport or outside locations.
• Advice the management the best system of company shipment handling.
