The logistics executive/ coordinator is responsible for coordination of all incoming and outgoing products must have knowledge of the steel products.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Understand and apply a working knowledge of shipping regulations, customs and duties requirements, and other related concepts
• Coordinate and prepare the documentation required to expedite a delivery from stock to customer.
• Serves as a point of contact for emergency shipping and receiving, including after-hour and weekend on-call assignments.
• Process inventory data updates and assist with inventory and shipment issues.
• Conduct cycle counts and physical inventories as required.
• Systematic data entry and printing of daily sales orders; generate delivery notes and prepare shipping documents.
• Customer service support of delivery requests.
• Ensure that all material are properly stored and all activities are in compliance with Health & Safety standards of the company.
• Ensures that delivery orders are processed in time for delivery in an efficient manner, including planning the delivery location route in consultation with the customer load table, selecting mode of transportation, monitoring the delivery and updating the client.
• Communicate and coordinate fulfillment status and/or issues with the various stakeholders
