coordinate with contractors (truck suppliers) to fulfill the daily orders.
negotiate the freight rates with the contractors (truck suppliers).
follow up with the contractors on the following:
- Completing the vendor registration forms as required by the company.
- Daily list of trucks supplied to different customers.
- Expected time of arrival to loading points and offloading points.
- Monitoring Collection of all transportation documents and receiving acknowledgments after offloading.
- Settle all claims related to short of deliveries or damages to the shipments raised by the customers.
- Improving the relationship with the contractors.
- Assign loads and monitor freight movement to provide safe, on-time service and meet customer requirements.
- Understanding and following safety and security procedures, and practicing preventative safety procedures as established.
