Develop and implement procedures or systems to evaluate or select of relevant suppliers/ vendors for the Company
Develop and implement scorecard of relevant suppliers/vendors (local and global) in the key categories such as quality, delivery, costs and recommend actions to improve the efficiency & sustainability
Define areas for Logistical cost savings and freight optimization, summarize initiatives at the various locations, and track savings from initiatives along with Contract Savings.
Lead and improve Distribution & Logistics practices and network optimization including trade compliance (Import/Export), distribution management and transportation management.
Evaluate, select and appoint third party vendors to provide services to the business (including sea freight, importation & exportation services, warehousing, road transportation, etc), ensuring best value for the business and best-in-class business partners that matches the size of the company business.
Issue shipping instructions and provide routing information to ensure that delivery times, locations, accuracy are coordinated, and monitor product import or export processes to ensure compliance with regulatory or legal requirements.
Manage the capacity planning process throughout the supply chain network to ensure the ability to meet demand
Build information and insights to understand the company's brands” portfolio, sku requirements, volume projections, sales & marketing strategies, to enable effective solution design
Deliver the right solution to support retail,wholesale /B2B, franchise, including external service providers, ports of entry, warehousing, transportation etc.
Assist Franchisees through Franchising Dept. in analyzing their business opportunities and areas for improvement with core and non-core sales.
Ensures all inventory is maintained and accurately reported. Maintain or enhance inventory control systems such as (FIFO & FEFO) that will improve products flow and track inventory accuracy.
Ensure correct invoicing processes and accuracy with all third party vendors and implement appropriate control.
Provide relevant updates of supply chain costs on a frequent basis (monthly actual and quarterly latest estimate) with specific detail and insights to all areas of spend, including business risks and opportunities
Develop the annual operating budget,and 3 years plan for the SCM operational needs. Regularly reports results to management.
Manage all assigned staff including training and development, performance evaluations, career development and assists in the recruitment and selection of employees adhering to all company's policies and procedures
Define the key performance indicators (KPI’s) and key success factors for supply chain and logistics (e.g., on time performance, cost per case, customer satisfaction etc)
Ensure ERP system is installed and well implemented
