PURPOSE
To establish, develop and update complete system of recording, monitoring and communicating Risk Management Framework to include Policies & Procedures, organization structure, process methodology. To assist in the implementation of the Company’s Compliance programme and support documentation requirements thereof. Ensuring risk and compliance policies are effectively implemented as per Corporate Governance requirements through maintaining the Compliance Manual, Risk Register by key risk indicators.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Assist and support in the process of defining, developing & implementing risk and compliance policies and procedures, compliance plan, risk framework, strategies and processes.
- Assist in the implementation of all aspects of the risk and compliance functions, including implementation of processes, tools and systems to identify, analyze, evaluate, treat, monitor the risks company is facing that may harm its goals and objectives, ensure that these are mitigated, controlled and report regularly to senior management.
- Protect the company from all kinds of business risks, adopt proper financial
protection measures through risk transfer, risk avoidance, and risk retention programs.
- Securing and maintaining adequate
insurance coverage at most reasonable cost, allocate insurance premiums, establish deductible levels, manage claims for insured / uninsured losses and comply with local insurance laws.
- Actively participate, identify and quantify organization’s exposures, select and manage all contracts, develop and implement loss prevention / retention
programs and other necessary risk management services providers.
- Identify compliance issues that require follow-up or investigation, conduct /
direct internal investigation, maintain documentation of complaints received or investigation outcomes.
- Develop, document, disseminate and direct implementation of written compliance related policies and procedures throughout the organization through adequate employee training. Keep employees informed regarding pending industry
trends, changes, best practices and assess potential impact of these on organizational processes through internal reporting system such as corporate compliance hotline.
