A. Safety
Practise safe working methods to ensure your own safety and of those working for you and around you.
Responsible for the working methods of all the technical and support services staff to ensure that they maintain correct working ethics including housekeeping, record control and adherence to
paperwork.
B. Duties
a. Responsible for managing the maintenance resources and efficient use of manpower and tools.
b. Economical coordination of the maintenance operation, preparing work scope estimate, shop slot allocation.
c. Has the authority and responsibility for the supervision, coordination and accomplishment of all maintenance functions on behalf of the customer.
d. Responsible for maintaining the current status of all customer’s job orders and issue
report to the customer and management at the end of each shift.
e. Coordinating required maintenance by scheduling shop work on customer’s aircraft to meet customer requirements.
f. Provides technical assistance and/or data in support of the maintenance operation and liaises with other business partners
g. Manager has the authority to assign duties and direct priority of the shops.
h. Has the responsibility to manage mechanics and contract maintenance personnel to follow certain maintenance steps in the best interest of keeping production schedule.
i. Responsible for debriefing the customer via telephone and/or email of all maintenance activities, approval of the quotation and
provide regular updates.
j. Provides planning and cost estimating for maintenance work orders by accounting for all
required resources including labor, materials, equipment, contracts, permits, approval in cooperation with the production team
k. Monitors the performance of service contractors, through routine inspections and insure compliance of contract specifications.
l. Responsible to keep maintenance operation of all incoming customers and advised of the
expected time for return to service of an airplane on maintenance daily.
m. Coordinate with the Materiel Department for parts or other support material to be at the
proper location, adequate parts and material, tools or all other resources to accomplish maintenance actions and to meet the customers’ requirements.
n. Responsible to make recommendations to the Customer, production and Manager for any personnel, tools, ground support equipment and parts needed to support an on-time, quality operation.
o. Performs other duties as directed by the Management.
