Our client is one of the leading construction and engineering consultants with strong presence in the Middle East and North Africa. They have an urgent requirement for Claims Manager to be based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This role reports directly to the Project Director and involves working on large roads/highways projects.
Main responsibilities
• Review, investigate and appraise claims and appraise complex claims for delays, accelerations, wrongful terminations and unforeseen site conditions
• Establish and maintain professional business relations with clients
• Lead a team in the analysis or preparation of a complex construction claims and manage the deliverables for the client
• Provide advice on how to how to minimize the costs of legitimate claims and optimising the financial result of the project
• Management of risk/claim assessments
• Provide negotiation and mediation support as expert witness if necessary
