Marketing Strategy and Implementation:
•Formulate the marketing strategy for Foods SBU in coordination with VP Sales and Marketing and Head of Sales.
•Breakdown the marketing game plan into tangiable channel wise, brand-wise, region-wise and product-wise marketing initiatives, campaigns, PR activities, etc.
•Ensure marketing activites to reach the set targets and review performance periodically.
•Set standard policies and procedures for marketing team within overall contours set by Corporate and ensure adherence.
•Devise and implement initiatives to promote, position and market Arasco Foods’ brands in the market.
•Coordinate with the sales team for integrated sales and marketing plans to achieve market growth.
•Identify and engage market research agencies for generating market intelligence. Guide the market research teams in identifying key customer and product related feedack and information from the market.
•Ensure all marketing communication confirms to the brand identity.
Effective Marketing Function:
•Develop an annual marketing plan and linked budgets for incorporation into the business plan of Foods SBU.
•Ensure adherence to the approved budgets for the
•marketing activities.
•Oversee launching of new products.
•Oversee all product portfolio profile and provide sales presentation to sales department.
•Gather all consumer insights through multiple channels such as internet, on field exercises etc.
•Oversee social media activities.
•Participate in pricing strategy along with Head of Sales and finance team.
•Develop packaging that communicates the brand identity and quality standard of the brand.
•Evaluate periodic changes to all fleet art work.
•Gather all quality complaints from the sales force and quality team and communicate with quality departments of PPP or Livestock for action
Media and Merchandizing Plan Execution:
•Finalize media plan (ATL and BTL), PR and communication plans.
•Oversee design and development of all marketing materials such as POS, banners, uniforms, give away merchandise etc.
•Coordinate with external agenices and Vice President - Sales & Marketing and Head of Sales to design and implement suitable media campaigns, public relations initiatives and other marketing activities.
•Devise merchandising strategy for retail segment sales with assistance from Manager - Merchandising and guide the team in preparing a detailed merchandising plan including marketing campaigns, POS infrastructure and other marketing activities.
•Ensure successful execution of merchandising plans by coordinating with Sales team and other external partners (such as merchandise vendors, PR firms etc.).
Training & Development:
•Prepare a manpower plan in line with the overall marketing plan for the year.
•Assist VP in recruiting, training and allocating resources to the marketing department.
•Ensure adequate resource availability and utilization as per the marketing plans for the year.
•Evaluate the performance of marketing team and suggest performance improvement measures.
Reporting:
•Follow up market trends and competitor activities(pricing, positioning, distribution, promotions) and provide periodic updates to Vice President - Sales & Marketing and Head of Sales.
•Report as per agreed frequency on BSC (SMART) using relevant performance measures.
Decision Making:
•Marketing strategy and implementation plan in consultation with VP Sales and Marketing.
•Budget allocation for all marketing efforts in accordance with the VP Sales & Marketing.
•Selection of new ad, media, PR partners or modification to the terms of trade.
•Joint decision with respect to promotions, branding campaigns along with Head of Sales.
