Job Purpose
Support in conducting analyses and assessments of accounting practices, issues and trends either directly or through the oversight of assigned staff, applly technical expertise and knowledge to perform original research, contribute to policy deliberations, analyse issues and trends, and participate on accounting and audit focused
examinations of the largest and most complex accounting matters and its presentation,
ensuring the company،¦s financial reporting complies with the stipulated accounting
standards.
Key Result Areas
1. Conduct review of critical GL accounts and update line management on potential risks related to inadequate or unauthorized accounting entries.
2. Review all of the major contractual agreements and ensure from its compliance with Mobily group
process, procedures, accounting cycle and compliance with reporting requirements.
3. Prepare financial risk analysis matrix, review, update and examine on a regularly basis.
4. Participate and support in developing the financial reports from ERP, BI and other available IT applications to ensure the proper analysis of transactions and financial performance of the company.
5. Review the security profile in the ERP module (assignment of proper access privilege)
6. Review the devaluation of authority matrix and ensure its proper compliance
7. Conduct review of processes, products and systems accesses across Operations as per approved calendar to identify gaps and recommend solutions and corrective actions for the same.
8. Review proper documentation and analysis in case of exceptions/deviations reported by processing units from standard procedure.
9. Review the internal control matters identified in the review
10. Support in review of the financial statements and other financial reports.
11. Support implementation of IFRS in the group and ensure that all the accounting policies, procedure and required aspects of reporting have been in compliance with IFRS.
12. Perform other duties as required by higher levels os supervision.
