Support Water Services Manager in proper coordination, execution of operation and maintenance activities of Potable Water Plants & Facilities, specifically SADARA to meet Marafiq contractual obligation. Ensure efficient supply of Sea Water to SADARA RO plant. Assure smooth administration of Plant readiness and safety. Ensure timely preparation of Water related plans, budget and performance reports.
Carry out frequent coordination meeting with SIDEM & SADARA off taker for planning and maintenance and engineering to help review, discuss and explore alternative to resolve chronic and repeated problems on equipment and auxiliaries.
Review and monitor readings of SADARA RO parameter trends, help evaluate and trouble shoot the problems and coordinate with other functions to resolve such problem areas.
Coordinate with SWC operations to secure continuity supply of seawater to SADARA plant.
Coordinate and discuss with Technical Service Department & other concern entity to advice solutions to enhance the efficiency and performance of the units.
Prepare technical & statistical reports as needed by Water Services Manager.
Coordinate with SWC, SIDEM (SADARA) Operations Superintendents, Planning and Maintenance Engineers for the scheduling and monitoring of any outage for preventive maintenance of major equipment that may result in production loss or restriction of operation.
Review plans for shutdowns monitor the Inspections of the Water plants for Annual Overhaul in coordination with SADARA & SIDEM, Maintenance and Engineering Section.
Witness, in person, the testing and commissioning of the equipment post shut down to ensure that all maintenance work has been done effectively.
In coordination with other stake holders, Monitor and tour all plant premises, frequently, in order to ascertain readiness of plant equipment and auxiliaries to continue in an operating mode, to assure no plant leaks and any other conditions that endanger plant personnel and assets.
Respond immediately to emergencies, including fires, to mitigate and rescue Plant equipment and/or personnel during emergency situations.
Oversee preparation of O & M SADARA RO budget and performance reports
Coordinate and Organize activities to ensure that all work within SADARA RO and other a specific area of Water Services are carried out in an efficient manner which is consistent with operating procedures and policy.
Monitor SADARA O & M financial performance and other given area of activity versus budgets so that areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified and rectified promptly and potential performance improvement opportunities are capitalized upon.
Develop standard operating procedures for the Water Services Department and its auxiliaries.
Recommend improvements to departmental procedure and direct the implementation of instructions and controls covering SADARA & other specific area of Potable Water Production so that all relevant procedural/ legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service to customers.
Ensure compliance to all relevant safety, quality and environmental management procedures and controls within SADARA Plant & other defined area of Water Services to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high quality products/service and a responsible environmental attitude.
