* No experience required for candidates with a two-year diploma, or 4 years of experience for candidates with a high school certificate.
• to support fully the area of work and to participate in the provision of an effective and efficient 24 hours service.
• Receive patients documents and register the patients information in HIS for opening medical file
• Elicit information from patients and their relatives in a courteous manner, providing guidance and assistance as appropriate.
• Maintain highest levels of confidentiality and instill the need for confidentiality in subordinates.
• Schedule patients' appointments for treatment in Outpatient Clinics using the computerized system and Activate patient’s visit in HIS.
• Perform any other job related duties as assigned.
• Responsible for interviewing patients and relatives in a courteous manner, providing guidance and assistance as appropriate.
• Ensures that regulations relating to patient confidentiality are strictly adhered to.
• Responsible for the computerized scheduling of patients appointments for treatment in
Outpatient Clinics, in compliance with regulations and guidelines.
• Participates in ongoing training programs, and establishes a working knowledge of medical terminology and specialties.
• Perform their duties using sound judgment and initiative.
• In emergencies or disaster situations, all staff may be required to work outside their normal scheduled duties.
• The Rotational Program requires staff to be assigned to any section in the Patient Services Department.
• Perform other job related duties as assigned by the supervisor in Ambulatory Services.
