Randstad MENA is looking to hire a Saudi National for the SOX Controller role on behalf of a multi-billion manufacturing company. This is a permanent position to be based in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia.
Responsibility:
• Perform annual planning of AMTPJ SOX Plan. (e.g. Account Risk Assessment, Materiality, Significant Accounts Disclosure etc)
o Adapting Best World Manufacturing Financial Practices for continual improvement of effectiveness, efficiency and consistency.
o Attaining all Business results based on pre-determined targets and goals for health & safety, environment, quality, costs, productivity and resources
Main Accountabilities:
• Policies, Systems, Process & Procedures
o Fulfill the Health & Safety responsibilities as identified in the Responsibilities and Accountabilities section of the Health & Safety Program.
o Fulfill the Environmental responsibilities as identified in the Responsibilities & Accountabilities section of the Environmental and Energy Program.
o Fulfill the Quality responsibilities as identified in the Quality Management System.
o Fulfill the responsibilities as identified in the Performance Management Process.
o Fulfill the responsibilities as identified in the Attendance Management Process.
o Provide training and development to co-workers and help maintain Standard Operating Procedures, Best Practices and Job Safe Practices to ensure the transfer of knowledge to others.
• Business Requirements
o Coordinate with the Business Process Owners in ensuring that documentation, testing, remediation and the appropriate controls associated with financial reporting are identified and documented in the process documentation.
o Evaluate control deficiencies; develop remediation plans and impacts to financial statements.
o Coordinate with Auditors for the audit of the Company’s internal controls over financial reporting.
o Assesses and test Super Key Controls and Entity Level Controls.
o Issue of periodic internal control report and escalate possible critical issues to the senior management of the company.
