- To manage the company's database infrastructure that includes design, configure, deploy, support and improve in order to ensure that the database is scalable, secure and optimized to support the business requirements and growth.
- Build the physical design of database
system.
- Install and upgrade the Oracle and SQL Database server and application tools
- Configure and implement Oracle RAC and SQL consolidated environment
- Monitor and ensure that database replication to the alternative data center is working at all times.
- Perform database performance tuning to ensure database system is optimnized for application use through daily health check
monitoring
- Evaluate new version and releases of database system and recommend changes to improve stability and performance of database systems
- Troubleshoot database system on timewithin agreed KPI and SLA
- Write and maintain documentation of existing database system that includes database structure, database configuration and database history
