JOB PURPOSE
Manage internal Auditors and coordinate audit work between auditee, internal auditors and Manager Internal Audit.
RESPONSIBILITES
coordinate the work in the following areas:-
Planning and Risk Assessment of Audit
Execution of Audit
Finalization of Audit
Report issuance
Implementation tracking of Audit findings
Ensure the up-to-date of auditable areas through auditors and documenting the risk profiles of audit universe and make final recommendations to the manager Internal Audit for development of Audit Plan based on risk profiles.
Allocate the Audits out of Audit Plan to the Internal Auditors
Make time and cost budgets
Coordinate Planning for onward approval by Manager Internal Audit.
Review of Audit Programmes
Review of preliminary risk assessment and approval of planning
Conduct Planning meetings of Audits
Coordinate Audit Field work from start to finalization
Conduct concluding meeting
Coordinate the finalization of audit report prepared by the Internal Auditors
Assist the Manager in the development and oversee the implementation of operational policies, procedures and controls covering all areas of Internal Audit activity so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service to customers.
Assist the Manager in ensuring compliance to all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls across the Internal Audit department to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high quality products/service and a responsible environmental attitude. Provide commentary on any variance in safety, environment and quality versus standards for the benefit of functional management.
