Objectives:
Supervising the support and reference project of goods conformity within the following-up of the application, and preparation of measuring conformity indicators.
Tasks and Duties:
Proposing a strategic plan for the application follow-up department, monitoring incidents and supervising its implementation.
Following-up the all the involved employees and ensuring the implementation of the operational plan.
Supervising training new employees in the application follow-up department and monitoring incidents.
Identifying the training needs in the application follow-up department, monitoring incidents and supervising its implementation.
Supervising the Preparation of studies on the safety of products in the Saudi market and the associated risks.
Supervising preparation and analysis of the measuring conformity indicators.
preparing follow-up reports to the project.
Perform all other tasks assigned by the project manager in the authority.
Experience
10 years in quality and conformity assessment.
6 years in one of the conformity assessment fields (laboratories, inspection, certification, ...) Or technical legislation.
4 years in project management, following-up implementation, analysis and management products risks.
Knowledge
Knowledge of early warning systems such as RAPEX
Knowledge of international standards in the field of quality and assessment.
Knowledge of the assessment requirements and the mutual bilateral and multilateral recognition.
Certification in assessment, following up the implementation of projects and data analysis.
Good knowledge of the European legislative system, industrial product safety systems and consumer protection
Scientific knowledge of international conformity systems, standards and requirements WTO/TBT
preferably master’s degree in Engineering - authenticated certificate in assessment
NOTE:
work location will be in “The Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO)” firm for one year. Contract can be renewed pursuant to performance appraisal.
