The primary duties, tasks and responsibilities of this job role are to ensure that academic standards across FESA’s colleges in KSA are maintained at the highest possible level. You will work with the Quality and Curriculum Director, and, through him, the college Principal, as well as with the Heads of Department to ensure that institutional strategies and service objectives are met in respect of quality assurance processes.
To be successful you will need to be familiar with all standards relating to all academic programmes as cited by the CoE, NCEPA or the SSS. Working with the Q&C Director, to design processes to allow for the evaluation of all taught courses by all stakeholders including, but not limited to, students, academic staff and parents/guardians. You will also be required to develop processes to allow for the evaluation of all curricula at the end of each teaching cycle or as required and to effectively manage data relating to course evaluations against the SSS and to produce periodic reports and data analysis
In addition the role will include the requirement to prepare lesson observation protocols, work with stakeholders for their implementation and to own the resulting data for subsequent analysis and comment, linking to production of the colleges’ self-assessment report and associated quality improvement plans. Evaluate results from lesson observations against OFSTED standards and the SSS.
To work with the Q&C Director to ensure that all FESA colleges have access to appropriate guidance and staff development in relation to quality assurance procedures and develop and maintain an Academic Quality Handbook for all academic staff and administrators.
Work with the Quality Director and College Principal to ensure that deliveries satisfy and exceed the expectations of the client. To ensure that delivery of all academic programmes comply with FESA’s contractual obligations, specifically in relation to the National Occupational Skills Standards. To monitor and report upon the quality of teaching, learning and assessment making recommendations for continuous development and sharing of good practice.
