PURPOSE
To work on yearly plan for all the brands.
To work in a fast-paced environment and must be aware of emerging trends. Communicate observations on trends to the fashion designers working beneath.
Creates/visualizes an idea and produces a design by hand or using computer programs and give instructions on how to make the products they designed.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Designing
• Studies and researches fashion trends to come up with designs that will appeal to consumers. Keeps up to date with contemporary styles
• Supervises market research through field visits and various other ways.
• Presents design and ideas to the Head of Marketing and strategy.
• Works with other designers or team members to create prototype designs
• Visits manufacturers when necessary to familiarize herself/himself with the production line.
• Performs related administrative tasks.
• Should have complete collection with different line and ideas to present it to the company (for all the products).
• Train and guide the fashion designers regarding designs and development process.
• To Amend all the design presentations.
• Dealing with suppliers.
• Taking approvals on the designs from management.
• Make sure that job deadlines are met in due time, ensuring that job quality is nothing short of the best
• Should be responsible for all the communication by email.
• Presenting and briefing the work to the management.
• Choosing the themes, idea, collection for the year.
• Working with the marketing and other departments to meet their requirements (photoshoot, social media, postures etc).
• Planning business trip and market visit with designers.
• Reporting monthly to MK manager on all the projects.
• Creating and following production plan.
• Keeping archive for the years for all brands.

• Career success relies on a combination of creativity, perseverance, resilience and good communication skills.
• Travel within the working week to visit manufacturers (often overseas).
• A design or whole collection refusal.
