Job Purpose
Ensure the effective
implementation of the Taif Quality Management System through the definition,
application, and assessment of appropriate processes. Responsible for the
handling of day to day quality issues arising from Weapons, Avionic and
Mechanical Systems including the performance of the base schedule of
audits.
Working effectively but
diplomatically with customers of all ranks/grade to resolve quality issues in a
timely manner in order to achieve continuous improvement. Adaptability and
agility to respond to the demands placed upon a high tempo operating environment
to safeguard the airworthiness and safety of the operation. Required to be
knowledgeable on a wide and varied range of technical issues.
This role will enhance your
diplomatic skills with customers of all ranks/grade to resolve quality issues in
a timely manner in order to achieve continuous improvement. You will, with
coaching and mentoring improve your adaptability and agility to respond to the
demands placed upon a high tempo operating environment to safeguard the
airworthiness and safety of the operation.

Your main responsibilities as a
Quality Assurance Engineer
Ensuring the effective definition and implementation of
the Taif Quality Management System in all areas of the
operation.
Coordinating all quality and continuous improvement issues
and investigating all reported quality occurrences.
Communicating with and up-dating managers and supervisors
on quality related issues.
Promoting the concept of continuous improvement within the
Typhoon organisation and secure maximum involvement in continuous improvement
activities.
Providing guidance to personnel on matters impacting
quality as defined in the local quality management system.
Assisting and act upon the direction of the Senior Quality
Engineer in carrying out their responsibilities.
Undertake audits as directed and produce audit reports
within the stipulated timeframe.
