WHAT:
The jobs in this level are subject matter experts in the area of Technology Planning and Development. The jobs are expected to have technical knowledge to supervise technology innovation and solutions for each technology domain.
HOW:
Technology Solutions:
* Provide subject matter expert in the Technology Planning and Development area.
* Coordinate with other Sectors to identify and evaluate new technologies that can enhance and innovate Zain services and products.
* Gather complex and strategic technology solutions business and technical requirements for new services, capacities and contingencies and work with relevant Sectors to plan and execute relevant business demand planning activities.
* Review cost- benefits analysis to ascertain the feasibility of complex and strategic project implementation; and assist in evaluation and allocation of resources for projects to gain approval and funding.
* Analyze high-level designs of technology solutions.
* Understand new technology solutions from Vendor for decision-making purposes.
* Review big account business systems to identify inadequacies, inefficiencies and problems and recommends appropriate solutions by supervising the development of business specifications for the same.
Business Alignmen:
* Support in the development of yearly Master Plan.
* Perform quarterly update and maintenance of the Master Plan.
Digital:
* Supervise the implementation of digital transformation program activities ensuring proper communication and alignment.
* Handle contests and collaboration programs for digital idea generation and collection.
* Follow-up execution of digital projects ensuring timely implementation.
Technical BI:
* Support in the development of roadmap for business intelligence in data and analytics domains.
* Prepare budget and effort estimate for each requirement, and plan budget accordingly.
* Prepare detailed project plans for each planned project.
* Review new device testing to ensure functionality and provide recommendations.
* Review contractors' performance on completion of projects, identifying lessons learned and alternation to contractor management process for the future.
* Review and analyze local and international consumer trends to guide technology evolution.
