Main Purpose:
The Sales Manager is responsible for generating sales, maintaining customer relationships, expanding customer database and market share. To work in line with the sales team targets and objectives, provide information of the prevailing market conditions and provide sales reports as required
Key Tasks:
• Responsible for customer accounts, handle customer enquiries in a timely manner through a commercial approach: visiting customers, getting involved in an early stage of new projects, establishing reports and advising customers.
• Quote price and lead times through coordination with procurement team, internal resources and use of pricing matrices.
• Responsible for generating of sales aggressively and meeting budgetary requirements, in terms of both volume and gross margins.
• Support sales and Management with forecasting information on the status of customer activity and future opportunities
• Responsible for liaising with the logistics team regarding scheduling and follow up of deliveries
• Strengthening existing customer relationships & developing new potential ones
• Marketing analysis: to monitor & evaluate the local competitors and follow the market evolutions for the particular area
• Determine niche marketing opportunities.
• Assume major account and geographical responsibility.
• Provide accurate and informative visit and market reports.
• Work in liaison with the projects sales team for back to back sales.
• Responsible for the development and performance of all sales activities in assigned market.
• Establishes plans and strategies to expand the customer base in the market.
• Previous proven records in achieving targets and stated objectives.
• Develops a business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability.
• Main objective to focus on Direct Sales with target achievement plan.
• Prepares action plans by individuals as well as by team for effective search of sales leads and prospects.
• Initiates and coordinates development of action plans to penetrate new markets.
• Maintains accurate records of all pricings, sales, and activity reports.
• Creates and conduct proposal presentations and RFP responses.
• Responsible for checking on status of payments and liaising with accounts team as well as keep the management updated on an on-going basis
• Responsible for updating the sales database, preparing sales reports as required.
