A leading manufacturer in the Middle East, located in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia, engaged in the manufacturing of Decorative Laminates (HPL & CPL), Melamine faced MDF panels, Melamine Edgeband and Parqe Laminate Flooring, is looking for competent personnel to work as Area Sales Manager.
Job Purpose:
The main purpose of the Area Sales Manager's role is to implement the company's sales strategies and increase sales in his geographical area, source new sales opportunities, establish contact with existing customers, following up on potential leads and monitor industry trends in order to identify emerging markets and develop plans to utilize those markets to expand revenue.
Major Job Tasks:
- Implement systems, plans and strategies to maintain and increase sales of the company's products.
- Achieve the targets and goals set for the assigned geographical area.
- Establish, maintain and expand the customer base within his geographical area.
- Allocate areas to Sales Representatives.
- Keep up to date knowledge about the products, market including competitor's activities, key projects, main contractors and consultants.
- Monitor the receivables and make sure that customers abide by the Credit Policy.
- Deal with the problems by providing creative and practical solutions.
- Implement performance objectives, provide support, evaluate / appraise team and provide regular feedback on performance.
- Promote a high-performance working environment and promote the company's values.
