Job Purpose
- The main purpose of the Environmental Engineer‘s job is to ensure compliance with set environmental policies and procedures
Principal Accountabilities
- Responsible for environmental activities at all facilities and work sites
- Ensures ESEC complies with environmental regulations and standards
- Prepares, reviews, and updates environmental investigations and recommendation reports
- Informs company management, employees, and other related parties of environmental issues
- Assesses the potential environmental impact of operations
- Coordinates and manages environmental protection programs and projects
- Prepares hazardous waste manifests and land disposal restriction notification
- Develops and presents environmental compliance training or orientation sessions
- Advises on procedures to cleaning up contaminated sites
- Obtains, updates, or maintains plans, permits, or standard operating procedures3. Communications and Working Relationships
- Reports to and supports the Senior QA Engineer in all environmental activities
- Cooperates with Operations and other ESEC functions in environmental investigations and orientationsession
- Advises ESEC’s management on environmental matters
