•To support accounting supervisors; prepare daily worksheets to the GL system, ensures files are complete & maintained as needed, handles accounting duties
• Prepare & record journal entries and enter effect data entry of accounting entries such as payables, receivables, collections and general ledger and ensuring that all transactions are properly authorized, documented and classified prior to posting as per prescribed standards
• Check and verify daily, the petty cash and prepare daily cash flow & sales report
• Check customer invoices for all types of sales, compare with system printouts for accuracy, and follow up with sales departments on collection, undelivered invoices, etc.
• Prepare daily cash & bank vouchers and monitor daily cash receipts and deposits in company's bank accounts without delay & prepare bank reconciliation.
• Assist in maintaining the Fixed Assets Register and making monthly provisions for depreciation entries. Calculate profit or loss on sale of assets.
Compile, enter and post monthly adjusting journal entries. For monthly closing purpose
