Develops the Finance strategy in line with the overall PCC’s strategy and objectives.
Ensures that departmental strategies and related strategic plans are developed and implemented, which are aligned with the vision and mission of PCC
Directs the execution of all accounting activities to ensure that all financial transactions and fixed assets are accurately registered to the general ledger according to local and international accounting standards and ensures that financial information is made available in an accurate and timely manner
Reviews the contracts and agreements with vendors and third parties so as to protect the interests of PCC and ensures that all invoices’ payments comply with the contracts’ terms and conditions
Acts as a key point of contact with external auditors and regulatory bodies so that they are kept appropriately informed of PCC's financial status and satisfied of integrity of the management practices
Reviews and submits the company’s annual budget for final approval and ensures the continuous follow-up and reporting of its execution
Directs the tracking of financial performance against budget
Provides advice to the Senior Management concerning the financial implications to business strategies and plans
Manages the preparation of special on-demand reports
Leads in-depth financial analyses on financial statements and monitors review of specific financial items calculations
Oversees ad-hoc financial analysis requested by Management and liaison with different departments
Manages the effective achievement of Finance departmental objectives through the leadership of the Finance
Leads and directs the management of change through continuous improvement of departmental systems, processes and practices taking into account ‘international best practice’
Ensures that all departmental reports of PCC are prepared timely and accurately and meet company and department requirements, policies and standards
Ensure that all related systems and processes are utilized fully and accurately
Performs other related duties or assignments as required
