To facilitate expert multidisciplinary care for the patient and their dependents by
direction, supervision and example.
To act as a clinical and managerial resource for the unit.
Conjunction with head nurses.
To liaise and cooperate with other relevant department.
To provide professional leadership including participation in standard setting and leading in the maintenance care standards.
To participate in the education and development of all grades of staff.
To provide resuscitation cover for the hospital when necessary.
