Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues
Research questions using available Knowledge base
Resolve incidents and Service Requests
assigned within SLA
Advise user on appropriate action
Follow standard IT Service Desk procedures and provide IT Service Desk first line support
Log all relevant incident/service request details
(identify priority and categorization)
Provide first line investigation and diagnosis
(possibly resolving quick fixes)
Escalate incidents that cannot be resolved within
specified time limits
Closing all resolved incidents, other calls, and
requests.
Conduct user satisfaction call-backs as needed.
Configure PCs with standard software.
Experience with any incident & problem management system
Redirect problems to appropriate resource Own, follow up, and escalate till closer of any
incidents
Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent
attention
Prepare activity reports
