Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure the effective achievement of the department objectives via setting individual
  objectives, managing performance, developing and motivating staff, provision of
  formal and informal feedback appraisal in order to maximize performance of the
  department staff Ensure compliance to all relevant safety, quality and
  environmental management procedures and controls across the inventory stock
  control section to guarantee employee safety, legislative, compliance, delivery
  of high quality products/service and a responsible environmental attitude.).
• 
  
• Manage the functions, Inbound Logistics section and associated customs in addition to the inventory and warehouse sections in a cost effective manner while ensuring the availability of adequate spares for reliable plant operations
• 
  
• Promotes communication, collaboration and openness by working with different internal and external parties)
• 
  
• Develop Department goals and objectives that support the overall business strategy. Devise a departmental plan for achieving those goals and objectives
• 
  
• Develop overall departmental strategies, policies and procedures according to industry best practices.
• 
  
• Supervise the implementation of those strategies, policies and procedures. Improve the overall performance of the department through the optimization of people, process and technologies.
• 
  
• Ensure that departmental performance measures and KPIS are collected and consolidated in the appropriate systems.
• 
  
• Review performance date (financial, sales and activity reports) to monitor and measure productivity, goal progress and activity levels. Provide relevant reports on department performance.
