1: Oversee the safety performance of all trade contractors and are responsible for ensuring that all work is completed safely. 2: Oversee the delivery and use of materials, tools, and equipment; worker productivity and safety of construction. 3: Review the job schedule and cost breakdown and reporting variances. Keep the 4: Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO) shall perform safety and occupational health management, surveillance, inspections, and safety enforcement for the contractor. 5: A large portion time of each work day will be focused on preventing hazards, and maintaining safety by all personnel on the job site. 6: Divide all required construction site activities into logical steps, budgeting the time required to meet established deadlines. This may require sophisticated estimating and scheduling techniques and use of computers with specialized software. 7: Manage mobilization for efficiency, and proper layout of staging areas, trailers, and site. 8: Attend pre-construction and construction meetings and take adequate notes.
