• Part of The Information Technology Department that manages the technology and computer infrastructure that drives the company business systems. 


• As the Business / Systems Analyst incumbent will be using strong business process and analysis skills to be able to review, analyse and document operational, functional and technical custom configurations to be delivered by 3rd party application development consultants. Incumbent will also occasionally be required, where possible, to modify systems including coding, testing, debugging, installing and supporting business applications. 


• Incumbent will also be required to develop solutions using industry leading B.I. tools to help customer insights and management information. 

Responsibilities: 

•  Interface with system users to understand and document business requirements, solve operational problems, and deliver quality solutions.


•  Coordinate 3rd party development providers and in-house resources to deliver software  solutions to meet business requirements for system function,


• Develop custom data conversion and interface programs. o test plans and testing of application systems. 

• standard reports and functional dashboards based on business requirements. 


• Develop, plan, and deliver formal and informal end user training. 


• Maintain Business Intelligence models to design, develop and generate both standard and ad-hoc reports. 


• Support self-service reporting and analysis by business users in a consultative role.


• Identify and resolve data reporting issues in a timely fashion.


• Perform quality assurance checks on new or enhanced reports. 


• Coordinate support activities with other IT personnel and participating in projects under direction of the Director of Information Management. 


• Keep abreast of technology trends and developments to be able to support proposals/recommendations of appropriate future proof solutions. 


• Develop and implement standards, procedures and guidelines to support operational processes.
