JOB PURPOSE:

To assist in the applications and systems testing by reviewing the necessary information/requests from the business functions, communicating the systems testing plans and documenting the result of the tests conducted to ensure that corrective actions are recommended in line with the requirements, BT systems plans and objectives. 

Key Responsibilities:

Policies, Processes & Procedures:

• Follows all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.

Day- to-day operations:

• Follows the day-to-day operations related to own job to ensure continuity of work.

Execution of SIT Tests:

• Involve from the early stages of SDLC such as BRS and Design to understand the business requirements .


• An in-depth understanding and mastery of broad technical areas is required to integrate all system application activities.


• Review the design documents to verify the requirements are covered in the design document.


• Impact analysis on RB systems whenever a new change is about to be applied.


• Sound knowledge in Test Preparation Cycle of SDLC.


• Prepare Test Plan, Strategy and Test Execution Plan in alignment with the project schedule with an objective of delivering the project “Time to Market”.


• Review Test Cases when the approved Design Document of any change is completed.


• Prepare Test Report.


• Provide technical expertise and guidance to Bank assigned resources.


• Provide the knowledge transfer to the assigned RB internal resources.


• Attend and participates on meeting as a representative of SSDIntegration-SIS Department.


• Ability to execute multiple projects simultaneously and communicate effectively with all stake holders.


• Preparing of Release Traceability Matrix.

Continuous Improvement:

• Contributes to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of processes and practices taking into account ‘international best practice’, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement.

Reporting:

• Assists in the preparation of timely and accurate reports of Bank to meet company and department requirements, policies and standards .


• Defect Life Cycle, defect Logging and reporting.


• Generating individual monthly KPI’s.

Safety, Quality & Environment:

• Complies with all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.

Related Assignments:

• Performs other related duties or assignments as directed
