Job Purpose:

To deliver Lesson plans under the guidance of Site Manager as well as carry out administrative duties and support for the business.

 

 

Principal Accountabilities:

• Programming
  1. Responsible of classroom, prepare and deliver the lesson plan.
  2. Organize and lead activities designed to promote physical, mental and social development, such as games, arts and crafts and storytelling.
  3. Actively participate in all training programs and prepare for them as required.
  4. Know all the songs and chants within the lesson plan.
  5. Ensure all classes begin and end on time.
  6. Participate in at least one birthday party each month.
  7. For Arabic speaking staff – if a parent is struggling with the English lesson plans translate into Arabic for her or translate questions to other staff.
  8.Assist in the training of new staff as requested.
  9. Be willing to have the Site Manager observe classes at anytime and accept positive feedback.
  10. Assist other Facilitator with any operational or programming requirements.


• Operations:
  1. Prepare for class well in advance with full lesson plan learnt, all songs memorized, music ready, props ready and equipment well prepared. Take responsibility for making sure all supplies and lesson plans are obtained well in advance.
  2. Arrive in Customer Service Area at least 10 mins before program starts to welcome kids, greet clients and carry out promotional work.
  3. Leave Playfloor or classroom in a good condition ready for the next user. This includes wiping down ALL props used and supervising domestic cleaning staff and maintaining stock cupboards in a clean well organized manner.
  4. Assist in any promotional work as requested by the management. Be willing to work off site in other locations to carry out outdoor event with the team. 
  5. Participate in monthly staff ‘brainstorming’ sessions and full staff meetings.
  6. Report any defaults, breakages or low stock to Site Manager.
  7. Follow policies and procedures set out by management, maintain confidentiality and respect management at all times.


• General:
  1. Represent the center at all times; adhering to the dress code and standards policy and appearing bright, bubbly and welcoming at all times when in customer view.
  2. Assist in other classes if not scheduled to teach in case of staff shortage to help other staff. 
  3. Assist with other roles within the operation as requested.
  4. Present / participate in at least one birthday party each month.

Communications and Working Relationships:

• Reports directly to the Site Manager.


• Liaise effectively with the Site Manager and other instructor.


• Work as an effective member of a team respecting other diverse team members.


• Check company emails regularly and respond promptly as required, keep updated on center events calendar.


• Participates in events and Social Corporate Responsibility projects.
