Role Purpose:
To lead and manage the best practices, and standers to provide safe work environment for employees, clients and visitors Kingdom wide.
Accountabilities:
Financial and Operational Planning and Delivery
Translate the services strategy into safety and physical security operational / business plans and monitor execution performance to ensure that objectives are achieved, and targets are met.
People Management
- Manage and evaluate employee’s performance with continuous feedback on their assigned targets and provide development opportunities to maximize potential and engagement of employees.
- Enhance building safety and security awareness of Bupa Arabia employees
Safety / Security’ Policies and Procedures Management
- Develop, plan, organize and direct initiatives related to safety and security operations in all Bupa Arabia offices.
- Continuously interpret and ensure due coverage of all critical aspects and requirements set by SAMA and MOI and prudetial coverage against all potential security risks.
- Manage risk assessment program by identifying strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, risks, vulnerabilities and threats to building safety and security to develop appropriate strategy.
Customer Support and Satisfaction
- Ensure regular contact with business units and ensure services are aligned to the changing needs and in accordance with the regulatory requirements and agreed SLA’s.
- Manage the investigation, audits and correction of all security compliance issues.
Business Continuity Management
- Analyze, recommend and oversee the emergency preparedness and recovery plans, operations and procedures
- Responsible to coordinate emergency response activities, including emergencies, involving medical situations, hazardous materials, and natural disasters internally and externally
- Conduct disaster preparedness activities and implement disaster plan
Security/Safety Technology and Systems
- Monitor implementation and ensure placement of new safety system and its connectivity to the Security Control Room, proper operation and coverage of the designated areas through regular inspection visits and testing
- Oversee the activities of Safety Systems Administration and ensure that they are in line with SAMA and Civil Defense and regulators’ minimum requirements.
- Plan & schedule the security guards timing across BA facilities.
- Develop a master plan for maintenance activities for all the safety & security systems of BA kingdom wide
