We, a dynamic and fast-growing freight forwarding company located in Jeddah, KSA providing ocean, air and land freight services to our customers, are seeking for an experienced sales representative to join our team.
The role requires a strong background in the freight/logistics industry and a passion for sales. A track record of successful sales in the sea freight industry along with an existing client network is a must for a successful application.
Aside from working in a professional environment with opportunities for career development we offer a highly competitive sales performance incentive on top of a market level base salary & allowances for transportation and communication.
Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for securing new customers, maintaining and developing existing accounts, pursue realization of such opportunities leading to revenue for the company.
2. Meet and exceed ambitious, yet achievable targets for sales and gross margin.
3. Identify potential customers, conduct and report multiple daily visits to qualified prospects and customers to enhance sales and business relationship.
4. Maintain records of customer details and sales visits in provided systems and templates.
5. Negotiate with customers as per price guidelines given, aiming to maximize margin.
6. Follow up on customer communications in a timely and professional manner.
7. Cooperate closely with sales management, fellow sales representatives and operations team for bid management up- and cross-selling.
8. Assure collection of outstanding claims in coordination with Finance / Controlling.
