On behalf of a leading fine dining retail and hospitality division, we are seeking a Supply Chain & Quality Assurance Director for their Riyadh operations.

Supply Chain

• Manage the entire Supply Chain process from demand planning to product supply, import and clearance-up to the warehouse management, delivery of goods, supplier selection, and forging strong vendor-partner relationships.


• Develop and align functional strategies and objectives by developing business plans, feasibility studies, budgets in accordance with overall business strategy and direction.


• Manage the demand planning process by enforcing the planning discipline through elaboration and implementation of proper planning tools.


• Manage the product supply process, commercial & shipping terms, reconciliation with suppliers, sourcing optimization, supplier’s service level agreement, contract negotiation, and cost modeling.


• Manage the different aspects of the logistics operation, import and clearance, transportation, warehousing, distribution, and third-party logistics provider to ensure proper storage and distribution of finished goods across.


• Work closely with the distributor network and ensure constant availability of the products while avoiding over-stock both in-house and at customers' end.


• Drive positive business results through strategic negotiations, controlling costs and inventories, and implementing processes to support current and future business opportunities.


• Implement and reach high-performance indicators by excellent collaboration between the main players (customers, suppliers, other subsidiaries, all departments, and branches).


• Provide guidance and leadership to all departmental staff to achieve agreed-upon targeted goals and objectives, and ensure effective talent management practices.  

Quality Assurance

• Train restaurant staff and managers on food hygiene and quality issues.


• Assure manufacturing is to food safety expectations with a focus on sanitation, environmental control, allergen management, foreign material, and strong focus during location and product launch.


• Audit each location to assure compliance to quality requirements and management of specific food safety risks identified for the location.


• Assure that all product release is timely and in compliance with specifications and quality monitoring schemes.


• Assess the findings of quality audits of stores and suppliers, maintain quality standards, and strategize against customer’s quality complaints.


• Develop and align functional strategy and objectives by participating in developing business plans, feasibility studies, budgeting, and project plans in accordance with the company’s overall business strategy.


• Implement company policies and procedures and International quality standards.


• Assess control and review the quality of all local suppliers


• Investigate and strategize against the customer's quality complaints related to raw material and ingredients.


• Ensure compliance with all quality programs.


• Cooperate with management personnel in formulating and establishing company policies, operating procedures, and quality goals.


• Communicate customer issues, concerns, and goals with senior management as well as the plants.


• Manage investigation and resolution of consumer complaints which may result from product manufacturing or distribution defects.
