Identify and Resolve System Issues. Troubleshoot/analyze computer systems to identify and eliminate performance bugs and hardware malfunction.
Help in developing Systems, design and implement processes for ensuring efficient IT operations in an organization.
Oversee the maintenance, repair or replacement of computer units or other technological components.
Communicate with company division to identify their requirement and ensure their needs are met.
Run quality checks on products/programs to ensure optimal and efficient performance.
Ensure the security of an organization’s IT database by performing backups and updating security protocol.
Provide advice and recommendations to management on processes and techniques required for improved work operations.
Collaborate with programmers, developers, and designers to achieve set objectives.
Install new hardware and software.
Setting up accounts for company employees with passwords and permissions.
Ensuring staff is properly trained on new systems.
Document Work.
Manage Projects.
Qualifications for Technical Engineer:
Industry specific certification
5 years of proven experience in IT engineering
Time-management skills and the ability to establish reasonable and attainable deadlines for resolution
Comfortable working in and assisting others through company help desk software,
Extensive experience working with different operating systems including Windows
Ability to prioritize and manage several milestones and projects efficiently
Professional written and interpersonal skills are essential when communicating with Management
Experience installing and configuring computer systems and applications for a large company
