ROLE
The role holder is responsible for the PLB Operator is to dock and undock the PLB on arrivals and departures in order to deliver operational excellent and safe services to ensure that customer service standards and contractual services are
met.
Operational
1. Confirm with the in-charge operation Supervisor the gate assignment and take note of all the flight details that he has given to the shift on daily basis.
2. Report to the assigned gate 20 minutes before the estimated time of arrival in order to check if the PLB is in parking position and also if there's any obstruction or any equipment illegally parked inside the PLB maneuvering area on daily basis.
3. Perform testing procedures before the estimated time of arrival to ensure that PLB is working properly on aircraft arrival on daily basis.
4. Follow the SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) for docking and undocking and always to follow the docking matrix to avoid collisions while driving the PLBs on daily basis.
5. Knock on the door of the aircraft for disembarking, but first to make sure that there's airline staff on standby next to the gate on a circumstantial basis.
6. Request permission to aircrafts engineers for connection and disconnection of GPUs and PCAs on arrivals and departures. To transmit this message verbally to avoid miscommunication especially for GPUs on daily basis.
7. Record all flight details and timings on the given flight log sheet on daily basis.
8. Monitor the level of PLB and aircraft cabin floor while waiting for departure especially during loading and unloading cargo on daily basis.
9. Inform the Operation Supervisor after every completed flight assignment in order to receive another schedule or to ask him if he needs help on other flights.
10. Wait for the incoming groups before leaving the area for the turnover on daily basis.
11. Contact the Operation Supervisors or PBB O&M Manager if there are any problems or concerns.

Employees who have completed 12 months’ service with SGS are eligible to apply.
