We are looking for a skilled Electrical and Instrument Technician to join our dynamic team in the manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical and instrumentation systems to ensure optimal performance and safety in our operations. This role requires a strong technical background, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. You will play a crucial role in supporting our production processes by ensuring that all electrical and instrumentation equipment is functioning correctly and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical and instrumentation systems to ensure compliance with safety standards and operational efficiency.
2. Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults and instrumentation issues, implementing effective solutions in a timely manner.
3. Install, calibrate, and maintain a variety of electrical and instrumentation equipment, including sensors, transmitters, and control systems.
4. Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize system performance and contribute to ongoing projects involving electrical and instrumentation upgrades.
5. Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and modifications performed on equipment to maintain accurate records and facilitate future troubleshooting.
6. Assist in training junior technicians and operators on proper equipment operation and maintenance procedures.
7. Participate in safety audits and ensure compliance with all safety regulations related to electrical and instrumentation work.
8. Respond to emergency breakdowns and provide support to minimize downtime and production loss.
9. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in electrical and instrumentation technology to enhance skills and knowledge.

Preferred Candidate:

1. Proven experience as an Electrical and Instrument Technician or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
2. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, instrumentation, and control systems, along with relevant certifications.
3. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
4. Effective communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate with various departments.
5. Attention to detail and a commitment to safety and quality standards.
6. Willingness to work flexible hours, including on-call duties as needed.
7. Strong analytical skills to interpret technical drawings and schematics.
8. Ability to adapt to new technologies and continuous improvement initiatives.
