Due to growth we have a requirement for an experienced Female Head of / Manager of Academic Services.
ROLE OBJECTIVE:
The Academic and Student Services Manager is responsible for establishing and maintaining effective support services within all relevant areas of Academic and Student Services. The incumbent leads the department by providing oversight of all relevant programs and services lines, and works closely with peers across the TQ Colleges to coordinate and standardize services. The manager is responsible for data gathering, data interpretation, and report generation.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides oversight for the functional areas within Student Services, which may include student recruitment, counseling, attendance management, and activities
Provides oversight for the functional areas within Academic Services, which may include admission, registration, student records, graduation eligibility, assessments, and scheduling
manages and maintains the college electronic student management system (Power School), ensuring data is accurate and input/updated in a timely manner and in accordance with relevant procedures
manages the production of academic documentation for internal and external scrutiny to support quality assurance activities and internal and external auditing
manages the inputting and checking of attendance data in line with the college policy and timescales
Participates in the development, implementation, and interpretation of academic and non-academic policies within the college
Formulates departmental budgets, goals, objectives and priorities; ensures the efficient utilization of allocated resources
Enables the facilitation of effective student recruitment initiatives and monitors interactions with secondary schools and other post-secondary institutions
Monitors Admissions and student registration processes; produces data relevant to enrolment projections
Oversees the development, maintenance and security of all student records systems
Coordinates the logistics and procedures for college-wide examinations, including KET exams; provides invigilators as required
Supervises grading procedures and Graduation Eligibility checks taking place for all students each semester
Manages the student attendance program in collaboration with the relevant Curriculum Managers
Plays an active role in supporting Student Counselling, Career Advising, and Special Needs services
Ensures student security procedures and protocol are effectively enforced
Provides oversight to the development and maintenance of college timetables for students, faculty, labs and facilities
Coordinates special events at the college as required
Produces a variety of reports and detailed analysis for TQ management
Audits departmental procedures as part of the Quality Management program
Participates in the recruitment and selection of staff and ensures the effective management and development of staff
Contributes to the development of the TQ Colleges by participating in the college management team; by observing and implementing College and TQ College-wide policies and procedures; and by participating in extra-curricular activities and community events
Travels to other TQ colleges to attend meetings, workshops and conferences as required
Develops an awareness of, and respect for, the customs and cultures of Saudi Arabia and TQ students and employees
