Direct and manage the Government Affairs activities, providing leadership, encouraging teamwork and facilitating related professional work processes in order to ensure that departments / function areas fulfill all licensing requirements to legally engage in its activities in Saudi Arabia
Maintenance of all legal requirements for operation in good order
Timeliness and efficiency in managing government related paperwork
Advice and Studies
Study and conduct legal research on matters requested by Corporate Core and the departments, preparation legal advice regarding new regulations and legislation to ensure compliance with Saudi Labor and other Law Regulations and relevant legislation.
Review contracts and agreements concluded with external parties. Negotiate legal documentation to ensure the company’s position is clear and well protected.
Provide support and advice to the tenders and corporate deals process as requested and represent ALJE business on legal matters with the concerned Ministries.
Opinions delivered are sound and well researched.
Company’s position and interest are clear and well protected.
Legal advice and support are recognized and valued.
JOB SUMMARY
Legal adviser shall ensure that all business, transactions, legal documents are complying with applicable laws. Also, to review legal documents and ensure that it’s effectively drafted and interpreted.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
To provide professional support, guide and advice as required.
Assisting the business in compliance with all various legal requirements.
Advising on minimal liability and legal exposure for the business.
Suggest and advice on various legal matters likes commercial contracts, dispute resolution, regulatory, employment, and governance.
To ensure that legal documents are drafted, reviewed and interpreted as per applicable laws.
To take appropriate steps on different types of legal issues.
To be able to handle external as well as internal legal resources Skills and Specifications.
Keep appropriate level of management informed of issues and coordinating / initiating required actions.
Where required, to assist in formulation of evidence for submission to inquiries, Select Committees and other formal tribunals;
To advise across the company on the legal effects of policy proposals
