As the Head of Engineering you will be responsible for developing and leading the execution of the engineering strategy ensuring that the performance and reliability of the site is achieved. This is a senior, strategic role with responsibilities encompassing organizational performance, projects, people and financial management.
This site is currently experiencing considerable growth within the region and as such is searching for a high caliber manufacturing professional to lead their established team. Main Responsibilities:
• Own the development and coaching of engineering talent on site
• Deploy best in class maintenance systems and procedures to deliver optimum machine and site performance
• Contribute to the development of the site by taking an active role in the site leadership team
• Drives Continuous Improvement by leading the team that standardizes, develops, reduces cost and optimizes production processes across the plant by utilizing Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma principles
• Monitor the budget and assist with the formulation of revenue and capital budgets / plans
• Identify and manage the execution of site-based projects
• Develop, build and make available to the organization Product, Process and Packaging expertise relevant to the asset base.
