In this role you will be required to spearhead and ensure manufacturing of high standard products for the consumers according to quality and food safety specifications in line with Quality Management System strategy.
Accountabilities:
1. Ensure the on time delivery of accurate results and implementation of proficiency testing and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) for the assigned laboratories (QC Laboratory, QA Laboratory, Micro Laboratory, CO2 Laboratory, Wastewater Laboratory, Trade Survey, Syrup Room Laboratory, Water Treatment Laboratory, and Production Lines).
2. Oversees day to day QA activities and collaborates with other departments in the qualification process of ingredients, raw materials and packaging materials through Vendor Management Program.
3. Leads quality and food safety risk assessments, formulates and implements corrective and preventive actions.
4. Keeps abreast the plant leadership on quality and food safety related KPIs and issues; recommends solutions.
5. Plans and leads the implementation of strategic projects that contribute to the continuous improvement of the business, quality, and people.
6. Manages QC/QA Team effectively to keep highly motivated team through coaching and performance appraisal, provides guidance on troubleshooting using World Class tools (PDCA, 5-Whys, SPC, etc.), works within the framework of the company policy and corporate quality policy, imposes company rules and regulation and implements disciplinary measures fairly.
7. Ensures compliance to 3-D, M&W, AIBI, FSSC22000 standards, HSE, WCM, Local Regulatory Requirements and company Best Practice Tools.
8. Prepares OPEX/CAPEX budget for QC/QA operations, monitor, and implement controls.
