ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1- Manage technical and engineering support resources to meet homologation, Dealer technical support, quality control, workshop requirements and retail training.
2- Develop and implement policies that will enhance the level of satisfaction with the JLR ownership experience.
3- To ensure that the Aftersales budget provisions for controllable expenses, direct costs, capital expenses, marketing costs are achieved.
4- Ensure that the appropriate disposition of staff in Aftersales is applied to meet JLR objectives, and that the policies are implemented in such a way as to contribute positively to the achievement of Dealer Network improvement.
5- Develop and manage the Aftersales staff so that they are equipped to achieve their objectives, and to qualify themselves for further contributions in other areas of the Company.
6- To deal with owner complaints, within guidelines, in such a way as to minimise negative effects.
7- To ensure that allocated JLR resources are secured and used in the interests of achieving the designated objectives, and that facilities used are safe and secure for the welfare of staff, customers, the local community and the environment generally.
8- Setting annual budgets for Aftersales activity, including sales, margins, direct costs, controllable costs, marketing costs, capital expenses, and personnel costs.
9- Contribute to the achievement of the objectives of JLR Regional Office by participating and developing the strategic planning and day to day management of the Company.
10- To develop and implement policies in relation to Customer Service support, and to support JLR car owner Parts and Accessory requirements.
11- To meet or exceed budget planned sales revenue and profit contributions and to do so within budget expenses and costs.
12- To develop and implement strategies to highlight the importance of satisfying customer expectations and the means to measure and meet those expectations.
13- To develop staff skills and to ensure training and improvement plans are in place to meet staff expectations, and to ensure that there is achievement of objectives and staff cooperation with other departments within the JLR Group.
