Applicants are invited for the position of Associate Manager of Career Services and on the Job Training at Niagara College KSA, Taif and Makkah Campuses. The position requires promoting students and graduates of Niagara College KSA to the broader employer community and pursues opportunities to grow the support services for students and employers.
Reporting to the Manager, Employer and Community Relations, the Associate Manager of Career Services and on the Job Training is responsible for the development of comprehensive services to support and engage students in their pursuit of employment. These services include the delivery of on the job training preparation and support to students, operation of the on-campus Job Centre supporting all students and graduates, annual employer recruitment events such as career fairs and the development of extensive on-line resources and supports for students and graduates.
This position has a duration of 12 months, with possibility of renewal, and with a start date of as soon as possible. It is expected that the incumbent be flexible in terms of hours of work and maintain confidentiality, diplomacy and tact regarding internal and external relations.
Responsibilities
• Supervise and lead the operation of on the job training and Graduate Employment Services
• Oversee and enhance the day to day operations of the Job Centre
• Develop and lead the delivery of on the job training programs and related services
• Participate in internal and external networks and committees to ensure all services are responsive and progressive
• Act as an employer community liaison promoting students and graduates to employers
• Other duties may be assigned as necessary.
