Jobs Management in Saudi Arabia
The Business Development Manager is responsible for the development of new business opportunities including analysis of potential markets/segments/products, implementation of a feasible organizational set and development of market strategies including the appropriate business plans. In addition, this role is concerned with the setting and achievement of sales targets through managing local OEMs and distribution partners in the territory.
Responsibilities include:
- Manages and executes the new business opportunity, the sales support and local assembly team to ensure optimum efficiency through balancing the buying & tendering quotes, proper mix of products and increased profitability.
- Recommendation and development of products and increasing market share.
Essential Functions:
- Recommend, develop and pursue long term sales growth objectives and plans within the region
- Maps regional product requirements, identifies key product and application gaps and develops business plans to complete the product gaps
- Develops the strategy for new cross-product line and cross-divisional businesses in alignment within the product-lines, divisions and regional ME strategy
- Analyzes and evaluates competitors, markets, and trends in consideration of new business opportunities. Selects target markets and segments
- Stays abreast of emerging technology and competitive trends
- Analyzes and defines market prices for new applications in consideration of Eaton’s value pricing methods and tools
- Works out business cases and develops business plans for new product applications and commercial projects based on Eaton’s Selling (and Creating) Value methods and tools
- Leads localization projects, considering Pre-Launch and Pro-Launch processes. Defines product features in an early phase of a project considering the voice of customer, market trends and competitors
- Cooperates strongly and aligns with the sales, product lines, Finance, Innovation & Program Management, other divisions, as well as ES EMEA functions as marketing, key account management, segment management
- Supports and consults countries during the creation of country sales models for new product applications
- Communicates and presents strategies, actions and results to the leadership
- Drives innovation for new business opportunities
- Leads in developing and expanding global accounts development regionally working closely with regional sales
- Responsible for successful launch of new products ensuring compliance to regional requirements.
- Self-motivated, accepts ownership for results, takes initiative
- Take active role in new product integrations and improve their sales.
- Extensive focus on OEM Partners to maximize the preference for Crouse-Hinds by standardizing their requirements.
- Recommend and initiate changes or deletions in current products and pricing necessary to maintain and increase sales and margins in accordance with organization’s goals and policy.
- Determine competitive standing of current products in relation to price, features and performance including analysis of competitor’s actions, product developments, and product policies and activities
- Evaluate product success in the marketplace through internal reports and direct contacts with field sales, customers and distributors.
- Prepare pricing and proposals for projects as requested.
